Confident in your technical capabilities and leadership abilities, willing to continue learning new technologies as mission needs morph, and desire to work in Colorado Springs, CO to work side-by-side with government counterparts on small agile teams to ensure our countries’ space assets are safe & effective.
You will
Support the US Space Force in acquiring, developing, deploying, and sustaining the test and training capabilities for the Space Systems Command, Operational Test and Training Infrastructure’s system program office. Provide expert support to the Program Manager and Senior Space Force Leadership regarding acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting, and execution. Coordinate and interact with stakeholders including Program Managers, Contracting Officers, System Engineers, and external organizations.
You have
- Experience with Department of Defense program acquisition processes and documentation
- Experience with project management, procurement/sourcing, finance, contracts, defining requirements, and/or scope of project
- Knowledge of DoD Financial Management and Program Execution processes
- Knowledge of DoD contracting processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology and Project Management, or other technical degree
- Demonstrated ability to effectively influence Decision makers
- TS/SCI Clearance Eligible
- The ideal candidate would have 5-15 years’ Experience
Desired:
- Experience in DoD system test, training, and operations
- Space-domain experience
- Experience developing market studies, request for proposal and supporting source selections
Compensation: Base Salary: $120,000 – 190,000 however this is commensurate with experience. Annual bonuses can be significant because they are based on the extent to which the employee drives profitability for the company.
