You Will

Lead the Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) team in the digital specification of capabilities for the National Space Test and Training Complex – Orbital Range to support on-orbit assessments of space systems and capabilities. Use systems engineering tools to validate requirement and interface allocations.

Lead a team in the construction of a digital specification (requirements, behaviors, architecture, and interface specifications) for multiple areas and systems using MBSE approaches. Follow design, development and test of the system elements to ensure military customers’ requirements of the system’s missions are met.

  • Lead model development capturing the technical baseline of the NSTTC-O
  • Use this model to maintain an accurate description of the current NSTTC-O as well as the future to be developed system of systems
  • Work with other systems engineers on trade studies, requirements development and review, and design reviews to determine requirement budgets and performance predictions

You Have

  • Experience leading a team focused on Systems Engineering
  • Working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban or other agile development methods. Certification as a Scrum Master or Agile Certified Practitioner is desired
  • Previous experience with Model Based System Engineering
  • Strong background in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical engineering, math and/or physics
  • Working knowledge of computer programming for performing modeling and simulations of engineering systems
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain a TS Clearance
  • The ideal candidate will have 10-20 years of experience

Compensation:
Base Salary: $150,000-$200,000 however this is commensurate with experience. Annual bonuses can be significant because they are based on the extent to which the employee drives profitability for the company.
