Build and iterate space control simulators and help government customers in Colorado Springs.
This position will involve some training with a small, highly technical team at our facility in Colorado Springs, while awaiting security clearances. You will learn about all aspects of space control, including how to detect and respond to threats, operate systems, and tune them to obtain best performance. Once cleared, you'll split time between simulator work at our facility and consulting with customers at their facilities to:
Upgrade classified versions of simulator capabilities
Train satellite operators to use systems and educate them in space control topics
Help procure experimental space control systems
Demonstrate capabilities of these systems
Define best methods to integrate and operate these systems
Strong background in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical engineering, math and/or physics.
An ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance.
